Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Trader Joe’s cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 pack Trader Joe’s pie crust
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
  • Add flour and cook for one minute.
  • Slowly add broth and milk. Stir smooth.
  • Add salt, pepper, veggies, and chicken. Cook for five minutes.
  • Place pie crust in a baking dish.
  • Pour filling into the crust.
  • Cover with top crust and seal edges.
  • Brush top crust with milk or butter.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for quick cooking.
  • Let the filling cool before adding the crust.
  • Add more veggies for better flavor.
  • Brush crust with egg for shine.
  • Rest pie 10 minutes before cutting.
