- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 cup achiote water
- 1 lb ground chicken or beef
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup cooked rice ground fine
- 1 cup water
- Oil for frying
Heat oil in a pan.
Cook onion and garlic until soft.
Add meat and cook until brown.
Add salt and pepper.
Mix in ground rice and water.
Cook until thick.
Mix rice flour and achiote water in a bowl.
Knead into smooth dough.
Fill dough circles with meat mix.
Seal and fry until golden.
- Use achiote for a nice color.
- Keep dough soft.
- Do not overfill.
- Fry on medium heat.
- Drain on paper before eating.
